Pay: $22-$24/hr/Part Time: 20-25hrs/week
Position Summary:
The Aquatic Lesson Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Aquatic Dept. with the lesson programs at Columbia Athletic Clubs and ensuring that these programs contribute to the overall success of the Club. The primary role involves training, scheduling and supervising the private and group lesson swim instructors and maintaining the success of these programs. This position upholds the professionalism and high standards of the Aquatics Staff. The Aquatic Lesson Coordinator may also be asked to teach group and private classes, lifeguard, and coach Swim Team if needed. Hours for this position are Monday – Thursday, 3 – 8pm. Additional hours may be available for those applicants seeking more. Work is reviewed in terms of member satisfaction, workout safety, physiological soundness, dependability and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience as private or group swim instructor.
- 1 year experience in an aquatic leadership role.
- American Red Cross Lifeguard certified.
- CPR certified.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
